Match report (by a bloke at the bar)

Thrapston gained quick revenge for their defeat to St Michael's earlier in the month with an easy 6 wicket win.

Batting first, St Michael's scored 163-7, Alan Bartley (45) once again in the runs to lay a solid platform. A mid order collapse saw the visitors reduced to 118-6 before late cameos by Matt Collier (25) and Brian Ahearn (28*) helped set a competitive target.

St Michael's opening bowlers Martin Baker and Tom Marlow failed to make use of the new cheery, allowing the home side to make a rapid response. Allan Garton top scored with 71 as Thrapston cantered home with 5 overs to spare.
