Match report

This was a match the Mick's boys will quickly want to forget. The picturesque surroundings of Campbell Park did not inspire the lads on Saturday as an 'up for it' and determined Obelisk put timid St Michael's to the sword.

A paltry 118 all out proved the downfall for the team, and despite captain Will Kingston's passionate call to arms at half time and Brian 'The Bear' Ahearn giving as good as he got to the opposition, the Mick's slipped to a 7 wicket defeat.

The only highlights were the magnificent stumping by Balboa, the Crispy King's one handed catch at gully, and Big Al's earth shattering catch / dive a mid-on.

The beer at the The Bull at Olney didn't taste so sweet this week, a bitter taste indeed.

The lads have to dig deep now......
